The section plays a key role in ensuring that appropriate governance arrangements are in place within the ACMA enabling it to meet its business objectives.

Two ongoing opportunities are available at the ACMA 6 and Executive 1 levels.

The Assistant Manager, Audit, Risk and Parliamentary (Pn 1536) is responsible for leading a small team that provides the accountable authority assurance across a broad range of governance activities for the agency. Areas of responsibility include the overarching risk management framework and policy for the agency, developing and reviewing fraud control functions, management of the internal audit program, oversight of the audit and risk committee secretariat functions, Comcover functions and oversight of the parliamentary and ministerial functions.

The Audit and Risk Secretariat/Governance Officer (PN 1626) is responsible for providing professional and seamless secretariat services to the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), coordination of the internal audit program and provides assurance on governance matters.
